Hello Life Time!

Obligatory photo op!

Greetings Jaime and the good folks at Life Time Fitness!

I am very interested in your Video Production Manager position.

You have my traditional resume – but I thought I’d try this to walk you through my credentials.

This here is my website. I’ve been making films under the moniker “Tiny Orphans” for about seven years. My work has been screened locallynationally and internationally. I have won awards for best film, best directing, sound, writing and art direction. I’ll include links to these films below!

Before entering film school downtown at MCTC – I graduated with a double major from SCSU in Creative Writing and Photojournalism. Unsure of what the heck a liberal arts major from Brainerd should really do with her life – I got a job in marketing. I worked in house and at agencies for about seven years using Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Plus and Facebook Ads all to drive exposure and sales.

Before accepting my position at Shop HQ, now EVINE Live, I freelanced as a Producer on a series of 170+ web videos called the “Product Quick Look” series.

Since joining the team in January of 2014, I’ve really enjoyed digging into the home category, namely the kitchen and food area.

I also cover soft home and textiles for on-air content.

Earlier this year I was lucky enough to go the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show for a pre-shoot of the EVINE Live Gem Preview Party and produced / shot / edited all of the Kathy Levine social media videos. (Note: Shot on an iPhone)

On the weekends I’m currently Producing / Shooting / Editing a food web series called “Cookin it with Corey.” Here’s the first episode:

I’d love to be considered for your Video Production Manager position. Thank you so much for your time!
